Meet Dr. Sydney Shapiro

Dr. Sydney completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Masters of Public Health from Columbia University.  She received her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Columbia University.  Prior to dental school, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Sydney is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association. She has served in leadership positions in local and national dental organizations, including as president of the American Student Dental Association during her time in dental school. 

In her free time, Dr. Sydney enjoys riding her bike, baking, and cheering for the Tar Heels.
