First Visit

We recognize that every child is unique. Therefore, we customize the first visit to meet the needs of each individual child.  According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the first dental visit should be by age one or within six months of the eruption of the first tooth.  Depending upon the needs and age of your child, they may get their teeth cleaned, an examination, a topical fluoride treatment to protect their teeth against decay, and any appropriate x-rays. We will review age appropriate dental home care with you and your child, and provide nutritional counseling. Any and all questions you may have about your child’s dental progression and needs will be answered at this time.  We strive to build a positive dental attitude at this first visit.
